Wine Country

So until I can do "Real Wine Country" aka Italy, I am happy with Napa and Sonoma Valleys. I went with my mom and two aunts. I was really fun getting together the first day, talking, having drinks...then it just became tension. :(
I did get some good pics and I got to see a lot of wineries. I wish we had more time to go to more and spend more time. I felt rushed, and that is mostly my own fault because I wanted to see so much. I was partially to blame for the tension because I had us on such a tight schedule. I was just excited and hopefully if there is a next time, we can have more fun and less "to-do".

Then we got to San Fransisco on our last day to stay the night there then fly out that morning. We had beautiful weather all weekend in Napa and Sonoma then yuck in SF.

Vegas & Tucson

Well I interviewed for a new position at work...won't know until I get back to work after my vacation to see my mom. Luckily they were here and I get to drive back with them!
We stayed the night in Vegas at the Paris.

Then just did the usual in Tucson. Pool, shopping and eating!

Amanda's Bundle of Joy

I have always wanted to be a photographer. Did a few classes at BSU and in high school but never was that great. :)

My friend was generous enough to let me play around with her newborn.

House Upgrades

Took out the laminate counter in the bathroom and put in marble! $20 on Clearance at Lowes!!!! Then i put trim around the windows and installed shutters.

Amanda's Babee Shower

Well, the shower went very well. I did not plan enough decorations for the amount of space I had. That was the only downside. But still thought it turned out good!

Here are the invites:

I made shirts for the big sisters since this was going to be their 1st brother!

I really didn't have enough time to focus on the food. At least there was enough!

For a guest book I used a bug themed book and got white or black markers to write in there. That way it can be read and remembered!

We played the dirty diaper game and the name that childrens book game.

I had the girls draw pictures of what they thought their new brother would look like:)

The favors were cookie mix in a mason jar. Butterscotch Oatmeal! Yum!
